​The Paradise Hills Special Zoning District Commission proposes updates to the Paradise Hills Special Zoning District Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, last edited in 2009. Neighbors, your input is not just important; it's crucial. The changes we're making to the Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance 2026 draft version need to reflect our community's needs. You can view the changes and new sections added to reflect current New Mexico laws, state zoning regulations, and best zoning practices. Your comments or questions for the record are not only welcomed but also valued. We appreciate your feedback. The comment period will continue through Thursday February 26, 2026. The Paradise Hills Special Zoning District Commission began the update process for the Comprehensive Ordinance 2026 draft version on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, through 2025. The Commission will vote to adopt the Ordinance after opportunities for public comment and input on all revisions. The Commission will hold Legislative Hearings to vote on the proposed amendments.
The Paradise Hills Special Zoning District Commission is dedicated to ensuring the process is accessible to all and to keeping you informed every step of the way. We will publish Zoom Meeting links for all Public Meetings and Agenda on the Paradise Hills Special Zoning District website, have sent a notification letter in 2024 to begin the process, and will send another letter in 2026 as the Commission finalizes the Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances update. Public Commission Meetings are generally scheduled for the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Written comments will be accepted until the final version is approved. The Commissioners are open to all comments, The Commissioners also hear Public Comments at special meetings and our neighbors can attend all PHSZD Commission scheduled meetings via Zoom Links. ​Please see the MEETINGS Page and ANNOUNCEMENT Pages for LINKS.​​
