Public Meeting Agenda
Call to Order; Roll Call by the Commissioners to establish a Quorum.
Proceed with a vote to approve the Agenda (a crucial step that sets the course of the meeting and ensures all topics are covered).
Public comments (please reserve public comments concerning a listed application until the project is addressed on the meeting's agenda).
The following agenda was deferred from June 23, 2026.
Review and approve completed minutes.
Report and Commissioner discussions on phone and email Inquiries:
The Commission will discuss Community Land Trusts approved in the 2026 Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances, and discuss the viability of the conversion of an existing HOA/Condo Associations to CLTs.
Commissioner Haley will present a report on the list of minor text edits in the approved 2026 Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances so that the Commission can formally vote on them. Minor text edits are: changes in numbering, corrections of grammar, spelling, or omitted words from earlier approved and retained ordinance sections. Text edits are not new changes in regulations. The Commissioners will discuss edits and revisions required by legislation passed in the last session concerning permits for daycare homes and facilities, and will make the Ordinance consistent with current State Zoning Statute legislative requirements.
The Commission website is under construction. Commissioners will be posting the final documents and changes.
The Commission will discuss the incomplete information currently published on the Bernalillo County Zone Maps for the PHSZD and steps to update them. Commissioner Baker is heading the Zone Map update project.
The Commission will discuss the steps for various new trail systems within the zoning district and the possible funding and upgrade of existing unimproved parks and trails.
Reports on pending applications (Commissioners). Additional Applications may be added or deleted from the list at the time of the meeting.

PHSZD New procedures for online applications and applications with multiple submissions (report from Commissioner Haley).
Demolition Letter and Procedures
The Commissioners will discuss Zoning Enforcement with Bernalillo County and draft letters for pending enforcement issues.
The Commission will discuss and vote on a PHSZD Resolution for support for additional buffers for the Petroglyph National Monument (reports from Commissioners Haley and Reser).
