Public Meeting Agenda

  1. Call to Order; Roll Call by the Commissioners to establish a Quorum.  

  2. Proceed with a vote to approve the Agenda (a crucial step that sets the course of the meeting and ensures all topics are covered).

  3. Public comments (please reserve public comments concerning a listed application until the project is addressed on the meeting's agenda).

  4. Review and approve completed minutes. The Commissions will discuss general business

    1. Report and Commissioner discussions on phone and email Inquiries:

    2. The Commission website is under construction. Commissioners will be posting the final documents and changes.

    3. The Commission will discuss the incomplete information currently published on the Bernalillo County Zone Maps for the PHSZD and steps to update them. Commissioner Baker is heading the Zone Map update project.

    4. The Commission will discuss the steps for various new trail systems within the zoning district and the possible funding and upgrade of existing unimproved parks and trails.

  5.  Reports on pending applications (Commissioners). Additional Applications may be added or deleted from the list at the time of the meeting.

    1. 6101 Paradise Blvd, (C-1 Approval). The project submissions were incomplete as of 8/24/2025

    2. 5973 Avenida La Barranca, Michael Lucero, Swimming Pool

    3. 10100 Golf Course Road NW, Joint Ventures LLC ( Minor Subdivision approval).

    4. 5625 Paradise Blvd. (Health and Safety Inspection for Food Truck Clearance; Lease giving permission for the food truck)

    5. 9712 Academy Street NW, Lawrence Sanchez (demolition of nonconforming structure). Application was incomplete as of 8/24/2026

    6. 5420 Fordham Drive, Bruce Yager, Primary Building Modification (the application is incomplete as of 8/24/2026).

    7. 5733 Piedra Rd, Lydia Davidson, Home Occupation (the application is incomplete as of 8/24/2026).

    8. 5119 Russell Dr. NW, June Chapman, Home Occupation Permit (the application is incomplete as of 8/24/2026).

  6. New Business (New Business may be discussed but cannot be approved until an item is listed on an agenda of a posted PHSZD Commission Meeting).

    1. PHSZD Home Occupation requirements for gun smithing and gun sales

    2. PHSZD New procedures for online applications and applications with multiple submissions (report from Commissioner Haley).

    3. Demolition Letter and Procedures

    4. The Commissioners will discuss and finalize draft letters for pending enforcement issues.

    5. The Commission will discuss and vote on a PHSZD Resolution for support for additional buffers for the Petroglyph National Monument (reports from Commissioners Haley and Reser).

    6. The Commission will discuss a financial report for 2025.

    7. The Commission will discuss adding twenty minutes to the next meetings for short organization meetings.

  7. Adjourn to the next meeting.
