Commissioners will consider updates to the PHSZD Site Plan Regulation Document (Version 4, April 2026)
The Commission will discuss Community Land Trusts approved in the 2026 Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances, and discuss the viability of the conversion of an existing HOA/Condo Associations to CLT's.
Commissioner Haley will present a report on the list of minor text edits in the approved 2026 Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances so that the Commissions can formally vote on them. Commissioners will approve edits and revisions required by legislation passed in the last session concerning permits for daycare homes and facilities and will make the Ordinance consistent with current State Zoning Statute legislative requirements. Minor technical edits will be discussed by section. Unoccupied ADU and accessory building setbacks for garages and workshops require minor text edits. Please see the individual website pages for the Ordinance by topic to see the redline draft revisions. The changes will be voted on after posting for at least fifteen days.
The Commission will discuss the steps and requirements for a proposed traffic light at Justin and Paradise BLVD.
The Commissioners will approve final documents for the effective Date of the Code of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances of the Paradise Hills Special Zoning District
The Commission will discuss the incomplete information currently published on the Bernalillo County Zone Maps for the PHSZD and steps to update them.
The Commission will discuss the steps for various new trail systems within the zoning district and the possible funding and upgrade of existing unimproved parks and trails.
